Privacy & Cookies
How tsevis.com handles your personal data and cookies.
Last updated 5 October 2026
In short
- We collect only what we need to sell and ship prints, answer your messages and, if you sign up, send our newsletter.
- We never sell your data and we do not use advertising trackers.
- Statistics cookies are set only if you accept them.
- You can see, correct or delete your data at any time: write to studio@tsevis.com.
1.Who we are
tsevis.com is the website of Tsevis Studio, the studio of artist Charis Tsevis, operated by TVD & SUN Creative Services Ltd. (company details in our Terms & Conditions). We are responsible for the personal data collected on this site. For anything about your data, write to studio@tsevis.com.
2.What we collect and why
- When you buy a print: your name, email, billing and shipping address, phone number if you give one, and what you ordered. We use it to process, ship and support your order. Payments are processed by PayPal; we never see your full card or account details.
- If you create a customer account: your name, email, saved addresses and order history, so you can track orders and check out faster. You can ask us to delete the account at any time.
- If you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address, and your name if you give it, so we can send you news about new work and prints. We send it only with your consent, and every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
- When you email us: your address and what you write, so we can reply.
- When you visit: our hosting provider records basic technical data (pages viewed, referring site, browser and device type, approximate location derived from your IP address). Visitor statistics are collected only if you accept analytics cookies.
Legal bases (GDPR Article 6): performing our contract with you (orders, accounts), our legal obligations (invoices and tax records), our legitimate interest in answering messages and keeping the site secure, and your consent (newsletter, analytics cookies). We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising trackers.
3.How long we keep it
- Orders: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Customer accounts: until you delete the account or ask us to.
- Emails: as long as we need them to answer and follow up, and no longer than two years after our last exchange.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
4.Cookies
- Necessary cookies keep the site working: your cart, checkout, account login, security, and remembering your cookie choice. They are always on.
- Analytics cookies from Squarespace count visits and show us which pages people read. They are set only if you accept them.
- Embedded videos are played from Vimeo and YouTube in their privacy-enhanced modes (Vimeo’s “do not track” setting and youtube-nocookie.com). Loading a player still sends your IP address to that service, and once you play a video, the service handles your data under its own privacy policy.
You can change your choice at any time with the cookie preferences button at the bottom of every page.
5.Who else handles your data
We share only what each service needs to do its job:
- Squarespace hosts the website, the shop, customer accounts and visitor statistics.
- PayPal processes your payment.
- Mailchimp sends our newsletter and stores the subscribers’ addresses.
- Delivery companies receive your name and shipping address to deliver your order.
- Vimeo and YouTube (Google) serve the embedded videos.
Some of these companies process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6.Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; you can leave the newsletter with the unsubscribe link in every email. Write to studio@tsevis.com and we will answer within one month.
If you think we have mishandled your data, you can also complain to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live or work.
7.Changes
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
