For companies and institutions

Made of everyone.

Algorithmic mosaics that hold your organisation, made for one occasion.

In short. Tsevis Studio makes algorithmic mosaics for companies and institutions: for an anniversary, a new headquarters, a merger, a retirement, a gift to clients or a campaign. Each work is built from your own material: your people, your archive, your messages, your data. You get one fixed proposal after a short conversation, with clear rights of use.

This eye is made of 966 pieces from 125 of our own projects. Zoom in and click any piece to open its project. Imagine it made of your people. Open it full screen.

Your
organisation
is already
a mosaic

Thousands of people, years of work, one name. A mosaic shows that, and you can see it from both ends: from across the lobby it is one image, and up close it is every person and every moment that made it. That is what a leader tries to say in a speech, and a mosaic shows it without a speech.

When it fits

These are examples, not a catalogue. The ideas are endless, and we make one for each need.

One work,
a family of works

A mosaic is a system, not a single picture. Every crop of it is a complete new composition. One commission can give:

Three Lhoist employees, one in a blue hard hat, made of hundreds of photographs of their colleagues

Each team
Each person
The main work, and three of its details. Lhoist, A Company Built by Its People.

Each person
  • the main work for the lobby, and crops for each office, country or team;
  • for every employee, a print of the piece that holds their own photo;
  • a numbered series for clients or the board;
  • cards, covers and campaign material all year.

Not only
on the wall

The same work can become fabric, a scarf or a tie, a pattern across your stationery and packaging, a screen saver, a video wall, a mini site where everyone finds their own face, a coin, a stamp or a book. Some of these we have already made: a stamp for Royal Mail, a coin for the Royal Mint, a silk scarf, fabrics and packaging. Others are waiting for the right client.

Any deadline

We work for newspapers and magazines on deadlines of hours or a few days, and for federations and festivals that give us months. More time means deeper study and more experiments. Less time never means no solution: the studio is built to respond, even at the last minute.

Why not just generate it?

If it can be made with a prompt, it says nothing about your company.

Anyone can generate an image in seconds now, so an image alone says little. What carries meaning is what a prompt cannot produce:

Mosaic portrait of Nikos Gallis made of press clippings and photographs from his career
The legends of Greek basketball, for the Hellenic Wheelchair Basketball Federation: portraits built from press clippings and photographs gathered over months.
  • Your own materialYour company is inside the work, not just its subject.
  • ProvenanceA studio with three decades of computational art, long before generative AI. Our own algorithms do the heavy lifting. Every final decision is made by hand.
  • Clean rightsA human-made work with a clear licence for every use you need.

How it works

  1. A short conversationThe occasion, the place, the people, the deadline.
  2. An idea and a sketchOne direction, shown before anything is made.
  3. A fixed proposalScope, timeline and rights in one page. No surprises.
  4. Making and deliveryThe work, the editions and the files, ready for the day.

Questions

What do you need from us?

The occasion, the deadline and the material: photos of your people, your archive, your logo, your data. If the material doesn’t exist yet, we plan together how to gather it.

How long does it take?

As long as you have. From a few hours for the press to several months for a federation or a festival. See “Any deadline”.

Can we use the work in our communications?

Yes, under a licence that states every use, set in the proposal.

Do you work with our agency, brand team or architects?

Yes. Much of our work comes through agencies and in-house teams. We deliver the finished work and every file to whoever needs them.

Can every employee be in it?

Yes. Everyone who sends a photo can be inside the work, and each person can receive the piece that holds their own.

What happens to our photos and data?

No client data, no corporate assets, no sensitive material ever leaves our machines. For institutions, sovereign clients and major brands, this is not a detail. It is a requirement.
